After working in senior positions managing the lateral partner process at two prominent Washington, D.C. law firms, he started Zenith Legal to provide a service missing from other legal recruiting firms: actual insight into how law firms evaluate lateral partner resumes, interviews, and deal negotiation. Mason received his J.D. in 2000 from the University of Chicago Law School and practiced antitrust law at Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering in Washington, D.C. He learned business strategy at the elite strategy firm The Boston Consulting Group before turning back to the legal industry as a strategy consultant in 2005. He has placed law firm partners, associates and C-Level staff at prominent AmLaw 100 law firms in Washington DC, New York, and California.
